PEER REVIEW POLICY
TJEB operates a double-blind peer review process. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated independently by at least two expert reviewers. The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.
TYPE OF PEER REVIEW
TJEB uses double-blind peer review. Author and reviewer identities are kept confidential at all stages.
EDITORIAL SCREENING
All manuscripts are first subject to an editorial desk review by the Editor-in-Chief. Manuscripts that do not meet the scope, formatting requirements, or minimum quality standards may be rejected without external peer review.
NUMBER AND ROLE OF REVIEWERS
Each manuscript is assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers selected on the basis of their subject expertise.
REVIEW CRITERIA
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts on the basis of originality, scientific rigour, clarity, relevance, and contribution to academic knowledge.
REVISION AND DECISIONS
Following peer review, the Editor-in-Chief makes one of the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
HANDLING EDITOR-AUTHORED MANUSCRIPTS
Manuscripts submitted by editorial team members are handled independently by another editor.
