Aims
The Transdisciplinary Journal of Economics and Business (TJEB) aims to advance high-quality theoretical, empirical, and applied research in economics and business sciences, with particular emphasis on transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches. The journal provides a scholarly platform not only for research rooted in economics and business as standalone disciplines, but also for studies that integrate
economics and/or business science perspectives with other fields to address complex real-world problems, policy challenges, and practical innovations. TJEB seeks to publish original, peer-reviewed contributions
that enrich academic knowledge, inform policy and practice, and promote broader scientific dialogue across disciplines.
Scope
The Transdisciplinary Journal of Economics and Business (TJEB) publishes original, peer-reviewed scholarly contributions in economics, business sciences, and their transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary intersections with other fields. The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, methodological, and applied research that makes a clear contribution to academic knowledge, policy, or practice.
TJEB covers, but is not limited to, the following fields: Economics
Theoretical areas: Economic theory, microeconomics, macroeconomics, economic history, and political economy.
Applied areas: International economics, public economics, development economics, financial economics, behavioural economics, econometrics, health economics, labour economics, industrial economics, agricultural economics, natural resource and environmental economics, urban economics, monetary economics, business economics, rural development, green economy, sustainable development, sustainability, digital and information technology economics, and economic policy.

Transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary areas
TJEB particularly welcomes research that integrates economics and/or business science perspectives with other fields, including but not limited to environmental studies, agriculture, public policy, governance, health, education, law, technology, innovation, sustainability studies, development studies, and the broader social sciences, provided that the manuscript has a clear and substantial economics or business dimension.
The journal does not seek to publish manuscripts that fall entirely outside the fields of economics and business sciences or that lack a clear analytical, conceptual, or applied link to these disciplines.
