Biography
I obtained a Bachelor degree in Agricultural Science and a Master degree in Human and Environmental Studies from Kyoto University, Japan. Subsequently, I worked at a general trading and investment company “Mitsubishi Corporation” in sugar and environmental business, and at National institute “JST”, where I was responsible for the planning, formulation, and implementation of science and technology policies, particularly environmental policies. In 2018, I was awarded a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies from the University of Tokyo, Japan for my dissertation titled “Evaluation of Process Technologies and Proposal of Technical Scenarios for the Effective Utilization of Woody Biomass Resources.” I assumed the position of Professor in the Faculty of Economics at Fuji University in 2024.
